Condolences to the family of the deceased for the calamity that befell them in losing a dear person without a doubt
One of the noblest human qualities is standing by the family of the deceased in their ordeal, a trait that indicates chivalry, humility, and respect. But all this fades, Your Excellency the President, if the 'deceased' was a person who dedicated most of his life to killing others and devising plans to bring disasters upon innocent families, trampling all human and ethical norms with his filthy military boot... and then condolences for the death of such a person become a disgrace. And if this 'deceased' spent most of his life serving an army that occupied our ancestors' land and our homeland, desecrated the sanctity of our precious soil, tortured your people’s children, fought in the ranks of an army that killed our people’s children in cold blood, shelled their homes with artillery, bombed their hospitals with aircraft, executed and continues to execute their youth day after day, and humiliates the dignity of thousands of your people every day, here condolences for this 'deceased' become humiliation and submission... a shame and contempt for the blood of our noble martyrs... a setback for our homeland’s fighters and supporters worldwide.
And if the condolences for the 'deceased' came, you personally ordered your authority’s officials not to participate in the mourning of the family of those whom this 'deceased' ordered to kill from our people during their third intifada, so we all become, Your Excellency the President, before a great moral decline, a degradation of chivalry, and an unprecedented humiliation of the dignity of our cause by those who participated in this disgraceful act.
Your official delegation’s attendance alone is a clear proof of moral decline and lack of feeling, and not only that, a member of your movement’s central committee named Mohammed Al-Madani praised the 'deceased’s past'!!! I ask you in the name of the bereaved of Gaza Hashim, in the name of the orphans of Jenin Camp, in the name of Shuafat and Hebron, in the name of the displaced of Tantura, Jaffa, and Al-Zeeb, in the name of Ahmed Dawabsheh, in the name of thousands of heroes in the prisons of your 'deceased,' I ask you in the name of the families of one hundred seventy martyrs executed by the army of your 'deceased' in recent months... I ask you in the name of the children of southern Lebanon whose homes were shelled by the artillery of your 'deceased'... I ask you in the name of Palestine, which I believe you still represent, where is the limit of humiliation and loss of dignity for your delegation and those who accompanied them and blessed their disgraceful step?
Statements by your delegation’s men, including Shak'ah, Madani, and those who accompanied them, claiming they are 'the official delegation of Palestine' are the height of arrogance and delusion... You know, Your Excellency the President, that the Palestinian people have not been given the opportunity for years to express their fundamental right to choose their representatives in the authority and the organization, and we are fully confident that our people’s awareness is too high to elect such figures to lead them. I assert that those who participated with your delegation from Fatah’s central committee were not even mandated by the national Fatah movement, and those who participated from the executive committee do not even represent themselves... The Palestinian people and the land of Palestine are completely innocent of these figures and their despicable actions.
What this delegation’s work brought of disgrace to our struggle, a setback to our martyrs, and a stab in the back of the resistance is not a passing discord or a rare slip but the latest episode in a series of unpatriotic acts, statements, and initiatives that are almost weekly from the authority’s apparatuses you head.
As for what we heard about your intention to form a committee to investigate the matter, it is nothing but another opioid injection like those you gave our people when you 'investigated' the involvement of authority men in building the apartheid wall, when you 'investigated' the killing of the symbol martyr Abu Ammar... and when you 'investigated' corruption and the embezzlement of hundreds of millions of the people’s money by authority men... Your committee is for you and those few who still believe in such stories... The Palestinian people, a people of dignity, accept nothing but the removal of symbols of shame from all their positions and their exclusion from public affairs after apologizing to the entire people for their disgraceful actions.
