Political scientist, author and strategic political consultant. Born on 24 January 1965 in Nazareth, based in Germany for many years.
Academic career
After school in Eilaboun (Galilee): physics at the University of Hanover, then political science, sociology and social psychology – Magister Artium (M.A.) in 2002. Doctorate at the University of Cologne and Leibniz University Hanover (2013–2018) on “Political Islam in the Middle East”.
Professional career

Civic engagement
- 2001–2009chair of the Palestinian social welfare organisation NAJDEH
- 2008–2016chair of the Palestinian Community in Germany (PGD)

- since 2017member of the board of trustees of the “Zukunft Palästina” foundation
Publications
More than 100 articles and essays in Arabic and international media, including “The Political Participation of the Palestinian Minority in Israel between Resignation and National Awakening” (2018) and joint essays with Prof. Dr. Michel Korinman in the Parisian journal Outre-Terre.
