Tel Aviv events and security provocation in politics
Reactions of many on social media pages after the announcement of the criminal operation in Tel Aviv truly provoke disgust. The vocabulary some used to express admiration for the killing and support for the killer even before his identity and goals became clear and before any party claimed responsibility for the operation, these reactions must raise many questions for all of us about awareness and understanding among large segments of our society and whether this is also the prevailing and entrenched understanding among us or not? We must also ask the important question about their understanding of the Palestinian national struggle project and its goals!
Tweets supporting and admiring the killing of civilians in the middle of Tel Aviv just because the victims are Jewish Israelis is itself a clear indication of the depth and breadth of the swamp of racism in which a not small segment of our Palestinian people and our Arab nation swims. These poor minds, in their ignorance, do more harm to our Palestinian cause, and with their blind racism, they only support Zionist racism and its constant attempts to classify our struggle against occupation and Zionism as terrorism. We repeat for those behind these criminals and their supporters with light minds; not every Israeli is Jewish, not every Jew is Zionist, and not every Zionist is Jewish or Israeli. Whoever ignores this fact despite repetition and reiteration, our Palestinian people are innocent of him and he does not harm our sacred struggle by a hair.
Conflicting information published until now about the political identity and goals of the killer and the party behind him if any... Some claimed he Islamized and supported the terrorism of the 'Islamic State,' others claimed he wanted to avenge a relative killed by Zionist security in 2006, and another section claimed the killer was psychologically disturbed. All this contradiction and deliberate confusion did not deter some 'intellectuals' from siding with those applauding blind killing! As if they never heard of the strategy of 'political security provocation' and its exploitation in critical political stages!
The matter is especially surprising since we Palestinians have been more than burned by its fire and suffered greatly from this strategy that the Zionists mastered and perfected in using and developing to harm our struggle for self-determination. None of these self-proclaimed cultured people and those who appointed themselves bearers of the banner of struggle asked: Why now? Why in Tel Aviv, and why are the settler gangs and the occupation army in occupied Palestine easier targets? Why could the Zionist security, which claims superiority over all security agencies worldwide, not track down, arrest, or kill the killer?
No one asked the question with patience about the relationship between the timing and nature of the operation and the escalation of the third intifada in occupied Palestine and the increasing Zionist confusion in confronting it and its inability to resist it, and the growing understanding and support of the global public opinion for the intifada!
None of these charlatans who grew in the name of God supporting killing asked themselves; what happened to change the strategy of a terrorist organization like ISIS, supported by Israel's friends and which never mentioned Palestine and the Zionist occupation since its inception, to carry out a criminal act like the one that happened in Tel Aviv, the capital that hosted from day one the mother organization of ISIS terrorists, Al-Qaeda called Jabhat al-Nusra!
Instead of posing these valid questions and waiting for the fog around the operation to clear, the drummers beat the drums of their ignorance and spread the shards of their minds on social media pages.
