The resettlement of refugees follows!

The urgent and legitimate question that we all must ask ourselves is: What is the next step planned by the enemies' alliance against the Palestinian cause, the Palestinian people and their interests, and against those honorable individuals, movements, and countries who stand with the Palestinian people in their struggle for self-determination, reclaiming their usurped homeland, and the return of its refugees?

It is wrong to believe that with the recognition of Jerusalem, both its western and eastern parts, as the capital of Israel, the Zionist agenda against the Palestinian people has been exhausted, emptied, and their dreams fulfilled, and that their project, which began practically with the Balfour Declaration a hundred years ago, has ended… The Zionist mindset, as history has taught us and as the science of political reality analysis has shown, is a colonial, supremacist, greedy mentality that is not satisfied with merely defeating its “enemies” but always seeks to subjugate and humiliate them… This mindset does not settle for fairness in matters or solutions, and its majority does not accept compromise with its adversaries, in its cowboy-like understanding, of course… From this standpoint, I believe that after the battle over Jerusalem, the door will open for the resettlement of Palestinian refugees in the surrounding countries and specifically Europe to complete the Zionist project.

Why is this? How? By what mechanism? Will we comply and surrender, or will we resist and cling to our rights? All these questions are legitimate and in their proper place and time…

It remains to note at the outset, before we begin reading the political and strategic reality of the Zionist project and analyzing it after the recognition of “unified Jerusalem” as the capital of Israel, that resisting what is happening now is protecting what remains of the Arab nation’s cause… Resistance that is studied and governed by a clear political program and far from the strategy of Eastern failure is a defense of the right that must remain alive until justice is achieved… Whoever accepts what Trump has crafted and what Israel implements on the ground regarding Jerusalem is the one who has slipped into the middle of the net and become their easy prey, and this person will undoubtedly accept whatever disasters and plans come after Jerusalem!

Returning to the essence of the article… Why do we expect a Zionist-American attack, supported by Arabs, on the right of return for Palestinian refugees and the opening of projects to settle them in some framework countries and other countries in the world, specifically in Western Europe?

To answer this question, we must quickly return to the history of the Zionist colonial campaign in Palestine… The campaign that began with the false claim “a land without a people for a people without a land” was an attempt to deny the existence of people inhabiting the Arab land of Palestine for hundreds of years, who legally owned it from father to son without interruption through their urbanization, trade, agriculture, civilization, and prosperity… After the Zionist fathers’ lies were exposed and some Jews who were misled by their lies realized that Palestine was never empty, some turned against Zionism as Martin Buber did, and here Arendt and others among European Jews began exposing their plans to displace the original inhabitants and uproot them from their cities and villages and seize their properties by force, as revealed by both the Jewish historian Alan Pappe and the Palestinian historian Nour al-Din Masalha in their numerous books about ethnic cleansing and Zionist crimes against the Palestinian people and their war crimes and massacres against them… After their failure to completely ethnically cleanse the original inhabitants, leaving about one hundred and fifty thousand within the borders of the Zionist state, the Zionist discourse shifted from denying the existence of the Palestinian people to talking about “Arabs” who came from neighboring countries to Palestine with the start of the Zionist campaign and before it due to the scarcity of livelihood sources in neighboring countries… Lies, fabrications, and historical forgery that Netanyahu repeated during his first term in office during his visit to Austria, and Naftali Bennett confirmed this lie in his 2014 speech before the Zionist lobby in America. This was the main reason for naming the Palestinians inside who remained steadfast on their land and their ancestors’ land as the Arab minority, which unfortunately was adopted by all Palestinians, both those who remained on their land and those who were displaced, as well as by the official and popular Arab discourse. To make the colonial Zionist state appear civilized and democratic, it allowed “these Arabs” to preserve their Arab identity in language, customs, traditions, books, media, and religious rituals, but prevented them from using their Palestinian national identity… This obscuration of the Palestinian identity of the Palestinians inside continued until the signing of the Oslo Accords and the mutual recognition between the PLO and Israel.

With the development of events and the emergence of the PLO and the Palestinian struggle for the right to self-determination, the return of refugees, their compensation, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on what remains of the land with East Jerusalem as its capital, and obtaining international recognition of this right and condemnation of Zionism as a hostile colonial movement, the Zionist discourse shifted from denying the existence of the Palestinian people to talking about “peace for land” with the Palestinian people… This matter did not come easily or on a silver platter… The Palestinian people paid dearly with blood to achieve this accomplishment and bore and still bear a pain and patience rarely matched in modern history…

Since the beginning of the Zionist colonial campaign on Palestine, supported by Western countries and Arab regimes, they have been working to achieve their clear strategy: “more land and fewer people.” This strategy depends on stealing and plundering land from the original inhabitants, uprooting as many of them as possible from this land, displacing them, and keeping those displaced as migrants until they forget and history forgets them!

The withdrawal from Gaza, densely populated and without any distinctive religious value for Zionism, along with the continuous and abundant settlement in the West Bank and Arab Palestinian Jerusalem, and the attempt to uproot Palestinians from the Jordan Valley and the Negev, are all tactics within this strategy... Recognizing East Jerusalem as part of the 'unified Jerusalem' as the capital of the Zionist colonial state is a cornerstone of this strategy. Achieving this accomplishment with official Arab silence and the weakness of the official Palestinian stance will not stop the project of the 'more land, fewer people' strategy but will accelerate it greatly. The next step after seizing more Palestinian land is to settle immigrants to eliminate them completely and to fully abort the Palestinian cause.

Trump’s recognition of 'unified Jerusalem' for Israel did not come out of whimsy, hysteria, or ignorance of reality as some wrote in our East... This step was a direct response to the new reality in the renewed Middle Eastern region. In the Middle East, America is no longer the foremost power, and its alliance composed of Israel, Saudi Arabia, and surrounding regional regimes has suffered heavy losses in most regional conflicts; their influence has diminished and begun to fade... Conversely, Russia has returned as a global power with a strong presence in the Middle East, supported by the sweeping rising regional power, Iran, and the resistance alliance countries that have achieved great victories and thwarted American and Israeli strategies to seize the Middle East... Trump’s step is proof of his weakness and that of his alliance in the East, but this does not mean they are completely defeated or that the possibility of further steps is impossible... The feeble official Palestinian response to Trump’s decision and the failure of some Arab regimes to respond correctly, some even planning for this decision, leads us to conclude that the next step will be an attempt to settle Palestinian refugees in neighboring countries and European states specifically. The weakness of the tribe incites the greed and ferocity of the attacker... Therefore, we demand an escalation in confronting the American decision in all areas where the Palestinian people reside and pressure on its political leadership to be courageous, stand with the people and democratic forces, and freeze agreements with the occupation state. The official Palestinian position is at a critical crossroads and must now take the correct stance... either remain in a negative, waiting position linked to Saudi Arabia and its alliance to secure some crumbs of political and material interests for a small elite or break with this alliance and return as a national liberation movement leading a mighty, steadfast, and struggling people within the resistance alliance still raising the slogan of achieving destiny and liberating land and people from Zionist-American colonialism and hegemony...

Trump’s policy became clear after the diplomatic battle at the United Nations: whoever is not with us is against us and must bear the political and material consequences of their position! There are regimes and countries in our East whose political and material ties to the United States remain very strong to the extent that Trump can ask them for things we previously considered impossible... such as settling Palestinians among them or receiving additional numbers of Palestinians, possibly under the falsely named 'humanitarian aid and human rights'... Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, and Western European countries like Germany, Sweden, and Denmark are all candidates to receive such requests from Trump soon, and the cowboy-like American performance at the United Nations will continue... This is the new tactic of the American president.

We have begun to observe the features of this movement in some countries... Lebanon suddenly announces without convincing reason or urgent need that the number of Palestinians on its land does not exceed 180,000, contrary to the nearly doubled figure previously circulated... Denmark submits to American orders and reduces its support for the Palestinian people... The withdrawal of the United States and Israel from UNESCO is a clear preparation and signal that the United Nations and its institutions, from the Trumpian strategic perspective, have become blackmailed and are no longer easy tools in the hands of the United States as they were after the Cold War and the collapse of the socialist bloc. Undoubtedly, this is preparation for the withdrawal of other countries from UNRWA and its marginalization to facilitate the settlement of Palestinian refugees.

In the end, I must point out that everything happening now and what will happen in the near future is not fate or destiny... but politics based on clear strategies controlled by tactics that rely primarily on pragmatism in work and political performance. Political programs can be opposed, obstructed, and even force their implementers and planners to retreat or change course, but this does not happen spontaneously; it is directly linked to popular and official struggle against these programs... History, old and new, has given us many examples of peoples who stood against projects of domination, colonization, and humiliation and forced enemies to retreat and change their plans... The experience of the Vietnamese and Cuban peoples in the past and the legendary steadfastness of Syria and Yemen in the present prove that in politics there is no fate or destiny... but strategies versus strategies and struggle, resistance, and steadfastness versus cowardice, defeat, and exploitation...

The Palestinian cause is at a very dangerous crossroads, and those pushing it toward the abyss are strong and extremist foreigners and brothers, along with a flock of internal crows croaking in their chorus... Facing this serious challenge to cross the crossroads to the right path requires, above all, the consolidation of Palestinian ranks and a strong, solid, yet flexible unity... Now is not the time for narrow partisan disputes or focusing on trivialities as some Palestinian currents do... The Palestinian people are at a decisive stage that requires distancing from factional selfishness and everyone must support the reconciliation file and oversee its implementation without betrayal or insult, and everyone must stand behind their political leadership to strengthen its back and demand and urge it to follow the correct path to cross the crossroads... Betrayal, insult, and unrealistic demands by some weaken the internal Palestinian front, which is a free service to the enemies... We wrote in the past that the reconciliation file has long-term and complex paths and is not a one-time immediate process, and achieving it is not only an internal Palestinian matter, and we must realize this before mobilizing the masses with unrealistic demands that no one can meet in this difficult short time... This spreads despair among the masses and breaks their spirit when we desperately need a strong spirit... Raising the discussion these days about the successor to President Mahmoud Abbas and some Palestinians participating in this discussion at this critical time is a dagger in the back of the Palestinian cause... Palestine is not a principality or kingdom, and the Palestinian people are not a herd without power or ability to appoint a president or pledge allegiance to a successor... The Palestinian people hold their decision in their hands and are the only ones authorized to elect their political leadership with full will... Unity is strength and fragmentation is weakness... This is a stage of decisive challenges requiring unity and consolidation of ranks.
