Mahmoud Abbas – Saudi Arabia's Ambassador in Palestine!

The moment Mahmoud Abbas supported the brutal Saudi aggression and its war on Yemen and stood alongside Al Saud in their war against the Yemeni people — a people who have stood by Palestine and its cause for decades tirelessly — this people who emerged in tens of thousands from the ruins of the destruction caused by the Saudi war to chant for Jerusalem and its Arabism on Jerusalem Day, at that moment Mahmoud Abbas became a Saudi knife stabbing the backs of Palestine’s friends.

At the hour Mahmoud Abbas joined the 'Islamic alliance to fight terrorism,' an alliance whose details Saudi Arabia stitched together with worn-out political patches to fight Hezbollah — the party that has paid dearly to raise the banner of Jerusalem and the liberation of Palestine and continues to defend Arab dignity — at that hour Mahmoud Abbas exited the honorable history of Palestinian resistance.

The day Mahmoud Abbas joined reactionary forces in dismantling Syria’s steadfast seat in the Arab League by his silence on its suspension — a country that has hosted hundreds of thousands of our people for over sixty-five years, a people who embraced and protected the Palestinian resistance when fierce reactionary forces in the Arab world besieged it — on that day Mahmoud Abbas lost the last grains of trust in his person and politics.

Today Mahmoud Abbas meets with Iranian mercenaries supporting them to destabilize Iran’s regime, a state and people who fed our people bread when they were hungry and built homes for them after they were destroyed by Abbas’s friends, the Zionists, with the approval of his Gulf princes friends, and supported our people’s resistance to stand firm against the brutal occupier without compensation or conditions... Today, with this step, Mahmoud Abbas declared his complete political bankruptcy.

Some beneficiaries from President Abbas’s kitchen and entourage justified the meeting as part of Palestinian Authority solidarity with the Iranian 'opposition’s' demand for democratizing political life in Iran and releasing political prisoners from opposition jails!!! At this moment, after these statements and the media war ignited by Ramallah Authority officials’ remarks, it has become difficult for the observer to remain objective regarding this diplomatic duplicity.

Not everything happening in Iran, especially its internal policy and its reliance on theocracy as a principle of governance and many other matters, is to my liking or that of many Arab leftist forces, and we have many criticisms of some Iranian foreign policies, but to support forces serving the enemies’ project and openly boast about raising the Zionist flag alongside Iran’s flag and not hide their contacts and coordination with Zionist and American intelligence hostile to our Arab nation and Palestinian cause exceeds all lines of diplomatic propriety and is nothing but spitting in the dish from which one has eaten!

The theocratic Iran has been and remains a support for the Palestinian people’s cause and a stronghold against reactionary forces in the region. I have written extensively about its regional role and my support for it, so no need to repeat, but what must be said clearly and without interpretation to those who have appointed themselves guardians of democracy in the region is that the Arabs spoke well when they said:

If the blame comes from a deficient person, it is a testimony that I am complete... You Al Saud and all who orbit around you, Arabs and Palestinians alike, how can you, reactionaries, boast of democracy when you buried it, fought it, and shook its foundations for decades?

And how can you, my people in Ramallah, speak of freedoms and democracy while your president sits on the throne, even if it is deficient and broken, for years without legitimacy or elections... How can you utter the word political prisoners while you imprison opposition members and your security apparatus tortures and mistreats some of them to death!! How far have you fallen?

My brothers, you must remember the words of our master Jesus before criticizing others and filling your mouths with hollow threats while you have no authority to move on your ancestors’ land. Remember and read in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 7: Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
